Rene Marie Russo was an American film director, actor, and supermodel. In addition to her graceful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. The career of her was launched as a model for fashion in 1970, and she quickly rose to fame. At the beginning of 1990 she started studying theatre and acting. In the following years, she moved to Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. Russo made her debut on the screen on ABCs Sable drama in 1987 as Eden Kendell. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest the following year on Major League, her debut movie. The consistency of her performance won the hearts of those who were skeptical regarding her talents as an actor. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was particularly lauded by critics for her performance against Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and many others. The actress admits to being not passionate about acting. After a lengthy vacation, she self-imposed herself the role in 2005. After a prolonged break, she came back to the screen in Thor. Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes within the UFC. She began her career in amateur fighting, taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering with Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of attention following her joining of the UFC thanks to her outside and inside the octagon success. Namajunas's family is Lithuanian as was her birthplace in Lithuania on the 29th June, 1992. Rose took part in various sports as a child such as basketball and kickboxing. Rose made her debut professionally at the age of 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she won two bouts by submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at the age of 22, she signed to fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has had highs and her lows as well throughout her professional career, but she always came to the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout in less than three minutes of round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also recognized as Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA historical with her fight because she became the first female to fight to win the title of champion in any organization of note. Namajunas continued to have many other victories, including 2 victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
